indore, India (prHWY.com) January 18, 2013 - Soybean to trade positive next week on short covering.Soybean futures are expected to trade in a positive territory in the first half of next week as investors may cover short positions built up before US Department of Agriculture data. Soybean futures on National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange ended up tracking over 1.5% gain in benchmark contract on the Chicago Board of Trade on Wednesday. CBOT gained on concerns that dry weather in parts of South America may damage the standing crop.Turmeric future to trade negative on lower offtake.Turmeric futures are expected to trade with a negative bias due to lower offtake by the stockists. Also, sluggish export demand may weigh on the market sentiments. Likely rise in supply in major spot markets after Pongal festival may also add to the weak trend.
