GovEvents has built-in features that are designed to simplify the task of finding events happening in the government and military industry. Along with filtering features, such as date, location,keyword and organizer, members can also narrow events down by those offering continuing education credits, call for presentations and even exhibitor and sponsorship opportunities.
Each member also has the ability to set-up alerts that will automatically notify them when a new event is posted on GovEvents matching their criteria. This is done simply by clicking 'Auto-Notify' at the top of any event listing.
Furthermore, each member is provided a personal profile for viewing event information. This allows each member's experience to be a personalized one. During any search, a member may 'save the search' so they can have access to it from their profile next time they log-in to GovEvents. Members may also 'favorite' events, and in turn, they will be placed inside the member's profile for easy-access.
