Small Country Proposes an Entire Countrywide IT Governance System
The small island nation of Hilltop is taking its first step to creating an entire nationwide computer and information system. The president and ruling government of Hilltop has decided to try and setup an entire IT governance system for

"IT governance systems are usually reserved for huge corporations and businesses", said the president of the country. "However, I think it could benefit our entire country to create a countrywide IT governance system."
The island nation could benefit from this type of computer structure. It would give them a stable computer system, while providing them with the resources they need to compete with large countries.
"Right now we aren't viewed very highly by other countries", said the president of the country. "People think we are just a small nation with nothing to offer. I think developing this IT governance system could help us become well known in the world. I hope it will anyways."
Hilltop has sought out some of the best and brightest in the IT industry to help out with creating this IT governance system. They brought over at least 5 IT professionals from the United States.
"We wanted this entire system to be designed correctly", said the president. "I didn't want it falling apart after a few years. So, I brought in individuals who know what they are doing and can help."
The IT professionals will start by creating an entire universal computer system. This would include all government computers, all police and fire agencies, and other computers that are part of the national government.
"Creating this universal computer system may take several months to develop", said the IT professional. "What we are walking into is basically a country that has very basic computer and Internet access. We will be creating their entire computer system from scratch."
The IT professionals are ready for the challenge. In fact, some of them plan on documenting their project in a new reality show that could be picked up by a major TV station.
"We want to show the world that the world of IT isn't as dull and boring as people believe", said one of the IT professionals. "We actually have a lot of fun and joke around. That is what the reality show will show. It will also show us working and hopefully generate some interest in the IT industry. It really is a lot of fun and could use some more people in it!"
