One Family Birth Center is a freestanding birth center; in fact, it was the first freestanding, licensed birth center in the state. One Family Birth Center offers health services for women including prenatal and postnatal care, birth options such as birth center births, water births, and home births, assistance with breastfeeding, annual and wellness exams, pregnancy tests, doula and midwifery services, and much more.

Births experienced in one of the two birthing rooms at One Family Birth Center are reported to be calm and gentle. Women have the freedom to move around the room as they please, experimenting with different positions that feel comfortable to them. They are allowed to eat, drink, and rest as they please.
