Native American Motocross Team Takes 1st Place Pro Supermoto Races in Kent, Washington

Rez Pony, a Native American motocross racing team based in Pala, CA., makes the podium and takes home the Gold and Bronze medals in the Pro Supermoto Races in Kent, Washington

Pala, CA (prHWY.com) October 14, 2011 - Pala, CA - October 2011 - Rez Pony, a Native American motocross racing team located in Pala, California, returned for the third installment of the Pro Supermoto Races in Kent Washington on August 18th and 19th with 3 medals. The Rez Pony racers have been competing professionally since 2008, competing in an average of seven events a year and has found themselves on the podium more often than not. This year at the Pro Supermoto Races in Kent, Washington was no different as the team placed in 1st and 3rd.

Ryan Kearns, one of the racers on the Rez Pony team, took 1st place in the Unlimited Pro division in Washington. He currently leads the Unlimited Pro division with 1 final race remaining in October at the International Motorcycle Show in San Mateo, California. Michael Smith, another rider on the Rez Pony team, placed 3rd in the 450-class race and brought home the bronze medal. The third racer, Josh Pederson, placed 4th in the 250 Pro division and currently sits in 3rd place in the 250 Pro class.

"It was a great couple days of racing," said Nathan Garcia, one of the owners of Rez Pony Motorsports, "there was a really decent turnout and the track was great. We did really good and we plan on placing again in our next race."
