FieldPower is a leading commercial Field Service Management application used globally by service organizations will now be offered on rugged lightweight tablet solutions offered by Knowella Technologies

Edison, NJ (prHWY.com) November 8, 2011 - FieldPower, a leading provider of field service management Knowella Technologies entered into a Strategic partnership. Under the terms, FieldPower's award winning workforce management software will now be available on a range of lightweight rugged tablet devices offered by Knowella Technologies.

FieldPower is a workforce automation solution for a wide range of service companies, helping them to better manage their field workforce. Knowella Technologies provides state of the art tablet PCs for mobile professionals in industries including retail kiosks, hospitality POS, healthcare, government and field force automation. The partnership brings together companies which have specialized knowledge of what industries need including the right application married to the right tablets and rugged devices for a mutually beneficial relationship and satisfied client companies..

The partnership provides an opportunity for both companies to offer multiple solutions available on one hardware platform. It will reduce overall customer costs and provide a dual role hardware/software solution. An example might be in remote regions such as in Alaska where oil field workers or First Responder or EMT workers with limited staffing could use this dual solution not only to provide accurate and efficient field service functions but also for emergency services that might occur providing life saving services as well. It is not uncommon in field service work that technicians are up to 500 miles away from the closest town and depend on timely repairs, but also timely information about another injured technician due to drug allergies or an acute medical condition.
