Myrtle Beach, SC - December 7, 2011 - Scott Pyle of Myrtle Beach has donated software to Haitian students as part of an ongoing relief effort spearheaded by Sue White, CEO of The Business Force.

"I came to understand that Haiti is one of the most impoverished nations on earth, and its bright, young students often have little, if any, opportunity to become proficient with any technical skills which could generate income," says Scott Pyle Myrtle Beach. See http://ScottPyleMyrtleBeach.com

The Business Force, a local Myrtle Beach marketing firm actually sent a representative to Haiti recently with a local group of Christian pastors and workers to see what the most pressing needs are and to discover how the community can help. Upon returning to the States, the partners at The Business Force were excited to learn how a difference can be made in the lives of the Haitian students.

As a marketing firm that specializes in helping local businesses with Google and other online rankings for their websites, it became apparent that much of the work involved in search engine optimization was tedious and time-consuming. "Much of this work can be outsourced to workers whose location isn't important. Haitian students can be trained to do this work, because their English is usually very good, and they are very motivated," says White.

The needs of the Haitians are technical training, computers, and software. Internet is available at some time each day, although it is not as reliable as in the States.

With the software Scott Pyle of Myrtle Beach has donated, the training for the students can begin. A team from Myrtle Beach, including Sue White of The Business Force, will return to Haiti early in 2012 to oversee the training project.

"We are all excited to see what can be accomplished by several people doing a little. I'm SO excited to be part of this project," says Scott Pyle Myrtle Beach. To learn more about the project, click here: Outsourcing to Haiti.
