We are enlisting your assistance in locating a young man that was robbed for his sneakers.

New York City, NY (prHWY.com) December 9, 2011 - We are enlisting your assistance in locating a young man that was robbed for his sneakers.

Our staff recently, watched a disturbing video on www.WorldStarHipHop.com ,in which a college student at Dean University was assaulted by another student for allegedly stealing a pair of $300 Nike Foamposites sneakers from a Dorm room.

Based on the video it appeared pretty obvious that these allegations were false and the group of men approached the victim with intent to bully and humiliate him. The Video clip which we have provided below shows the victim being punched to the grown and beaten, as he stood up to the bullies that outnumbered him 9 to 1.Once the assault was completed the attacker removed the sneakers from the young man and left him there without shoes dazed in defeat. This was all videotaped while other students walked to class.

Upon further investigation we found an article that was posted on the www.Bostonherald.com The Victim actually provided a receipt for the sneakers and nine students have been expelled from Dean University due to this event.

The reason we are reaching out to you is not to bring attention to a desensitized group of audience that watched these types of videos, and do senseless acts just to gain a mere 15 minutes of fame but for you to assist us in locating the brave young man that stood up to those men and said these are my sneakers and all I'm doing is going to class.

We being two young black males from the inner city ourselves know the path to enlightening yourself through education is the key to success, but it is a road that will be filled with some obstacles and some people will find it to be too difficult due to circumventing issues such as what we have seen here and no longer pursue that dream of an education.

That being said we would like your assistance in helping us locate this young man so we can honor him for his bravery by giving him a brand new pair of those same exact sneakers that were taken from him.
