This is due to their inherent charm and innocence that adds an interesting dimension to those photographs. Photos of children become more cherished especially if the child in the picture was one's own and parents usually take great pride in showing off their children's achievements to any visitor - the favourite medium being photos to prove the validity of their statements. This being the situation, one finds that it is very essential to have a rock solid protection for his photographs as these are the only memories that one is likely to have accumulated from the birth of a child. This is essential more if a person does not have a backup of all these photos on his DVDs, external hard drives or even an online storage facility.

The reasons why one loses data are wide and varied and it can be due to human error or technical faults on one's computer.
