His signature designs include Copper candleholders, vases, ornate bowls, mirrors and plates. Thomas also creates limited edition furniture, and elegant architectural commissions. The unique work of this renowned artist has a timeless appeal. The robust, fiery grandeur of his hammered Copper pieces evoke images of historical metalwork, yet he utilizes distinctly American materials and contemporary forms. Markusen creates gorgeous candleholders and vases from seamless Copper, a post World War II material that was actually refined in the United States, and is manufactured here in numerous sizes.

Opening night is February 16th from 6 to 9 p.m. during Scottsdale's bustling ArtWalk. This is sure to be a fantastic show, and you have a chance to meet and greet with the artist himself.
