Ca, DE (prHWY.com) April 14, 2012 - Apr 13 2012 Wildlife conservation website ConservationAndWildlife.com launches amid increasing concern for the fate of America's dwindling wildlife population.

Every year, more and more animals across America enter the nation's respective red list, or official endangerment list. In recent years, this trend has accelerated at an alarming pace, with environmentalists now estimating that more than 16,000 species are facing extinction in the near future.

'There are lots of organizations in the United States that promote animal welfare and ecological concerns,' says ConservationAndWildlife.com founder Christopher Strada, explaining why he created the site. 'But few websites that bring these issues - and the organizations and agencies that promote them - together and explain them in layman's terms. So I created just that,' he continues.

In addition to covering issues about serious issues such as international endangered species, charitable organizations, and wildlife conservancy, Strada's site also encourages people to enjoy nature on its own terms; a good portion of the website is dedicated to state wildlife, and the best spots in which to view it.

ConservationAndWildlife.com is also planning on expanding into other areas as well, such as animal volunteering opportunities and in-depth coverage of wildlife outside the United States.

About ConservationAndWildlife.com

ConservationAndWildlife.com was created by Michael Strada after years of volunteering at wildlife reserves and animal shelters in America, Thailand, and Ecuador. Since the site first opened to the general public in late 2011, tens of thousands of people have viewed the site and enjoyed the valuable information it provides. ConservationAndWildlife.com aims to upload its one hundredth article by Q3 2012.
