Las Vegas, NV (prHWY.com) May 5, 2012 - Magicians have entertained, mystified, and inspired thousands through live performances in Las Vegas to television shows broadcast to millions. The public fascination with magic stems from its love of the performing arts, however many theaters have been shut down in recent years from lack of profitability. One magician in particular, Mage Magnus, an illusionist and close up magician, believes that philanthropy and profitability are interdepent. Mage Magnus said "I will be providing free performances to museums (with non-profit status) upon request and upon availability, during the month of May 2012 in honor of International Museum Day on May 18th." Mage Magnus is a former student of the Academy of Magical Arts, member of the Society of American Magicians, and former consultant to a street magic themed reality television show filmed in Las Vegas.
