Parkway's award as Innovative Business of 2012 reflects the organization's efforts to research and implement new advances in sleep disorder treatment
Parkway was announced as winner in the "Innovation" category at the Cary Chamber Awards Banquet held in May at the Embassy Suites in Cary.
"Our talented staff has worked incredibly hard to make Parkway the Triangle's reliable go-to experts on providing all-inclusive health management solution for men, women, and children suffering from sleep disorders," said Parkway's Operations Manager Brent Brandow.
The Cary Chamber's Small Business Awards are given each year to businesses that have been in business for at least two years, have fewer than 50 employees and are privately held. Businesses are judged on innovation, success, community service and work environment, with awards recognizing companies who through creativity, innovation and a drive for success make an impact on the local business community and the people that they work with.
Brandow said Parkway's award as Innovative Business of 2012 reflects the organization's efforts to research and implement new advances in sleep disorder treatment, pointing to Parkway's development of a state-of-the-art Family Suites sleep testing center in Cary, active involvement in cutting-edge healthcare industry groups, national accreditation from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), and strong relationships with primary physicians across the Triangle.
"Our goal is to understand the changing needs of patients and look for effective treatments, whatever they may be," he explained.
