Storage Unit Hunters Rely Upon 3PL Software for Inventory Help

This career while filled with many unexpected surprises can be extremely time consuming and not for the unorganized individual. A new suite of software programs from 3PL may help storage unit hunters.

"Every day we have numerous people expressing an interest in becoming a storage unit hunter", said Thomas Jones, owner of Storage for All. "These people like the thrill and excitement of purchasing an unknown unit and finding treasures. I always tell people that while the thrill is fun, you have to be organized."

The new suite of programs from 3PL software helps many individuals track and organize their warehouses and storage units. Many times people will purchase items at an auction or a storage unit only to transfer the items to another storage unit for safe keeping. These software programs will help individuals not only succeed as storage unit hunters, but stay organized.

"Before I teamed up with 3PL Software I had storage units all over the state", said Danny Greg, a storage unit hunter. "I would be constantly trying to find items that I knew I purchased, but didn't know where I left them. This warehouse management software program really keeps everything organized and safe."

Thomas Jones of Storage for All has decided to start offering classes to individuals who are looking to break into the storage unit business. These classes will teach people not only how to purchase units, but how to use the software to organize their belongings.

"The reality shows really sparked people's interest in this storage unit purchasing and auctioning business", said Thomas Jones. "I think I used to have maybe 10 people who would show up for an auction on any given day. Now I have over a hundred people for storage unit auctions. They all think they'll find that one huge unit that makes them thousands of dollars."

Thomas Jones estimates that only 5% of storage unit hunters will be able to keep doing this as a full-time hobby. Many people are only able to earn enough to keep them doing this as a side hobby.

"There just isn't the ability to make thousands from this business", said Jones. "The economy is down and all that. But I think whether you are a full-time or part-time hunter the 3PL Software will really help all storage unit hunters succeed in this business."
