New Training Courses Uses Mazes to Help Train in IT Governance
Businesses and corporate offices all over the country rely upon people who are trained in IT governance to help sort out their IT infrastructure.

"We are noticing there are fewer and fewer people who have the knowledge that is needed to build a proper corporate IT structure", said an anonymous CEO. "My goal is to help technology companies create a training course that will encourage people to learn the skills they need to enter a career in IT governance."
The CEO is working closely with a well-known technology company to create a training course that is about learning the skills that is needed for a job. However, the skills are taught in a fun and exciting way.
"I think more people would be willing to enter an IT career if they had fun with the learning process", said the CEO. "I think that providing people with a maze- like course would help students have fun learning the skills they need. It would also encourage students to sign up for IT governance classes."
The maze-like courses would challenge students to learn how to properly navigate the complex IT infrastructure. Many people trained in IT governance spend hours having to make sure an entire building's IT structure is up and running. If there are problems they must navigate to them and work through them.
"The maze part of the course is the fun part", said the CEO. "We ran a beta test of this course at a local community college and the IT students loved it. They loved the idea of working through a maze. I think it appealed to the inner child in them."
The CEO plans on taking plans for this course to bigger and better heights. He plans on creating a life size maze. This maze would then be used to help students figure out how to navigate complex systems, but it would be more of an all-day event as opposed to the smaller maze.
"I think a larger maze would be more fun and exciting", said the CEO. "However, we would have to find the proper place to house the maze and then work it into the course curriculum."
Over 200 students have expressed interest in this new, fun IT course. The CEO hopes to launch several courses next year to accommodate the increased interest in the course.
