Los Angeles, CA (prHWY.com) December 3, 2012 - Today a HIGHLY disruptive approach for early detection of termites was introduced on Indiegogo (www.indiegogo.com/wallsensor).

With the smartphone, cloud algorithms and wireless sensors, WallSensor, a start-up located in Rockville Maryland, can help homeowners stop spraying just because they MIGHT get pests.

WallSensor sends an instant alert IF there are even a few termites, the worst kind of insect to have in your house. Better, it will detect other problem sounds too for alerting homeowners-- the scampering feet of rodents, and water dripping.

"With WallSensor we make walls smart. Homeowners need not spray unless there are real pests showing up-- it's healthier for families and better for the environment, and will save a ton of money to boot," said Joe Korakin, Founder of WallSensor.

About 10 million U.S. homes spray for pests each year at a total cost of about $5 billion dollars. Stopping indiscriminate spraying would save a given household $40 per month on average, or about $500 per year.
