India chana rises on local demand.
Indian chana futures rose on tracking firm cues from the spot
market where demand was good from millers and retailers
though expectations of an increased output from a likely rise
in the area restricted the upside. The most-active chana
contract for January delivery on the National Commodity and
Derivatives Exchange was up 0.33 percent at 3,995 rupees per

100 kg as of 0820 GMT.

Soybean futures climb after strong crusher report.
Crushing of the legume in the U.S., the globe's top exporter in
2011, drove to the highest last month since 2010. U.S.
crushers used more than 157 million bushels in November to
make cooking oil and animal feed, representing the top
amount since January 2010
