Based on Real Estate Sector and its challenges, the BRYS Group ETV Real Estate Conclave 2012 was conducted successfully at Taj Hotel in Lucknow. It was inaugurated by UP's Protocol Minister Abhishek Mishra.
(prHWY.com) December 29, 2012 - New Delhi, India -- Based on Real Estate Sector and its challenges, the BRYS Group ETV Real Estate Conclave 2012 was
conducted successfully at Taj Hotel in Lucknow. It was inaugurated by UP's Protocol Minister Abhishek
Mishra. The conclave was the first innovative experiment of its kind in Uttar Pradesh. Conclave had a
meaningful discussion on starting real estate exchange and important issues like rural housing
development, Plant development, Housing loan infrastructure, Land acquisitions, in which Government
Officers, real estate entrepreneur, real estate agents and media professionals gave many valuable
suggestions.
A large event on growing possibilities of real estate in UP was organized by BRYS Group Rahul Gaud
Enterprises and ETV Uttar Pradesh on Monday at Taj Hotel, Gomti Nagar. The conclave was held in three
sessions in which experts kept their opinions on real estate growth and various aspects related to it. In
the first session, Panel Discussion on Development Authority's role, the status of real estate as an
industry and the richness of real estate was held in which Protocol Minister Prof. Abhishek Mishra,
cleared that his government sees real estate as a prosperous and growing industry and this sector will
strengthen the robustness of the state's economic situation. The protocol minister also promised to
implement the recommendations which came up in the conclave.
In the first session, VC LDA Rajiv Aggrawal, UPSIDC's MD Manoj Singh and BRYS Group's CMD Rahul
Gaud also participated in the discussion. During the panel discussion CMD of BRYS Group, Rahul Gaud
said that "we are capable of making housing schemes of international level in UP, assuring the
cooperation of the private sector to the government. We need the support of government authorities
and also appeal them for increasing the Land Bank, if government provides the real estate with the
status of industry, they can change the face of the state".
Vice Chairman of LDA, Rajiv Aggrawal said, "There has been a tremendous growth we can see in respect
of real estate in Lucknow which is better than NCR". While recognizing the importance and co-operation
of private sector Mr. Rajiv said that "real estate prices will take care of needs of the public and the
prices, so that the vulnerable and poor people in cities could get home. MD of UPSIDC, Manoj Singh
insisted on advancing industrial land bank. He also invited the private sectors to advance the land banks.
Mr. Manoj Singh assured them that entrepreneurs, who want to look for this, will get recognition from
UPSIDC.
In the second session of the Conclave, Principal Secretary, Avnish Awasthi, Principal Secretary of Labour,
Shailesh Krishna, Economist Arvind Mohan and Prashant Tiwari emphasized that the development of the
real estate can be done on a PPP model which will ease the government in raising funds. Creating
regulatory on the fraud of builders who could work at the State level was also presented in the point of
discussion.
In the last session of the Conclave, Principle Secretary Sanjay Aggarwal, DM Lucknow Anurag Yadav,
Advocate of the High Court and CMD BRYS Group Rahul Singh Gaud discussed on issues like land -
acquisition problems. Principle Secretary Sanjay Aggarwal said that the infrastructure is necessary and
due to lack of land in the future, we will have to look for vertical rise i.e. Multi Storey buildings and for
this, it is important for the real estate sector to formulate a long-term policy. Expressing concern over
the problems of land acquisition, speakers agreed on the need to have a real estate exchange whereby
purchase of land, flats and houses can be done. There was an agreement among the speakers in the
conclave on promoting rural housing development along with metropolitans for planned development
and to meet the future needs. The government's attention was also drawn towards the difficulties that
come across housing loan; however, permission was also sought from the government to build flats on
small plots. World class infrastructures by DMIC in Noida were also brought to the attention of the
consumers. Considering the growth of real estate as a good sign, it was intended in the conclave, that
the real estate sector will provide full co-operation to the government but the government should also
stake a step ahead for the interests of consumers, increase attention towards the facilities for investors
so that Uttar Pradesh in the coming days will see the gleaming buildings such as Dubai and Shanghai.
ETV UP-UK Editor Brajesh Mishra assured that the suggestions resulting from this conclave will be
handed over to government as a vision. Brajesh Mishra thanked all the guests for the successful conduct
of the conclave.
Gurudarshan Singh (ADG, Railway), Mr. A. P Mishra (MD, UPPCL), Aditi Singh(CDO, Lucknow), Brijesh
Pathak(MP, Rajya Sabha), Piyush Jain(CEO, ETV Channel), Rajesh Raina(Group Editor ETV), Mohammed
