(prHWY.com) February 13, 2013 - Seattle, WA -- The grocery store on the corner of 5th and Main in the small local town of Fairborn has long believed that it had some sort of goblin infestation that caused it to lose its inventory. It appeared that every evening random items from the store's inventory disappeared. These disappearances were blamed on goblins, but with the help of a new software program the real culprit was caught.

"I have worked at this general grocery store for the past 30 years", said cashier, Steven Miller. "The inventory has always randomly disappeared. It happens now, it happened 30 years ago, and I even heard it happened 100 years ago. We always just thought it was some sort of goblin or spirit that stole the items."

The entire store's staff has always believed that goblins or spirits were responsible for the missing inventory. That was until the store manager decided to implement a new inventory management system.

"I thought it couldn't hurt to implement a new online inventory management system", said the general manager. "I figured if it wasn't goblins and ghosts that were stealing the products, I could find out where the inventory we did order goes."

Once the system went into place it really opened the eyes of the staff. It appears as if the grocery store was not haunted by goblins or ghosts, but instead was a part of irresponsible staff members and a poor inventory tracking system.

"It appears as if the inventory we thought the goblins were stealing wasn't really stolen", said the general manager. "The inventory was getting lost in the shift somehow. There was no way to track it from point A to point B. We would lose items and we thought it was a goblin."

The online inventory management system helped the store realize what was happening. The general manager has worked with the owner to create an inventory management tracking system that helped everyone know where all the items were at all times.

"This has been really helpful", said the general manager. "We have seen an increase in profits and we have more customers."

It appears as if some customers were afraid of entering a place of business that was haunted by goblins. Now that the goblins have disappeared people are coming back to the grocery store.

"I no longer have to drive an hour of my way to shop at a grocery store", said one customer. "The goblins are gone and I feel safe shopping here."
