Offering the latest in innovative automation techniques & solutions within the luxury service sector, More Control designed and developed an innovative automated hot tub cover application
(prHWY.com) June 18, 2012 - Milton Keynes, United Kingdom -- The cover, which consisted of a wooden panelled hot tub cover was designed to keep out the British weather while providing an impressive automation display to friends and guests. The hot tube cover has the ability to seamlessly fully open and close at the touch of a button.
The initial design of the hot tub cover was built around to form part of the existing decking; saving valuable space for the decking, allowing full use of the decking when the hot tub is not is use.
The overall design of the hot tub application consisted of six wooden panels that were supported by a metal frame. The hot tube cover is operated automatically at the touch of a button. The first set of panels on either side of the hot tube lift up, while the other two halves of the cover draw back using pneumatic fittings.

The wooden panels of the hot tub fold out to form a spacious, comfortable seating area at the edge of the hot tube. The overall maintenance of the hot tub application is easy, as the panel on either side lift out to expose the sides of the hot tub. The hot tub cover was designed to fit hot tubs of up to 2 meters² and 1 meter high.
Based upon the customer's requirements and the specifications of their existing hot tub, More Control supplied the framework, fixtures and fittings and installed the remote control to work. To generate the power, a normal 240v power supply was fitted to the hot tub.
