(prHWY.com) June 22, 2012 - Pennant Hills, Australia -- SYDNEY, NSW- Goldsworthy. A reputation, not a name. Being worthy of the gold. A standard. Olympians aspire to achieve being gold worthy through trials, risks, and pushing the limits while bring national attention to their countries. However, there is a man whose very name is Goldsworthy. A man of investment risk, who has been proven through trial and risk, who has pushed the limits in a world that doesn't understand and remains to tell the tale. That man is Australian, Brett Goldsworthy.
Brett Goldsworthy is a humanitarian who cares for his fellow Australians and his community. Recently, he established a fundraising campaign for the Australian arm of the Salvation Army. "I'd like to thank my fellow Australians for supporting such a Great Cause!"
Another cause that is close to the humanitarian entrepreneur's heart is raising awareness of global climate change through encouraging carbon neutrality. Recently attacked through the main stream media, his company 'Shift2Neutral.com' has been accused of allegedly offering fraudulent carbon credits to investors. That would be news to many who know the man and who worked with the entrepreneur directly to reduce their carbon emissions. According to the November Oakhill College Newsletter, Oakhill Drive, the college "has benchmarked its carbon footprint and will now explore ways of reducing its carbon emissions.
This process will involve whole school education in the use of our energy resources. Projects will be initiated which will minimise our carbon usage and students will have the opportunity to participate in these exercises." For example, one project had the college convert its old swimming pool into a runoff water storage unit so that rainfall could be stored and used for watering ovals and gardens and in another project, an active tree planting group was formed. These changes in environmental awareness and project start-ups would not have been possible without Brett Goldsworthy.
