email archiving software Cryoserver, is launching Version 6.2.4, an update to its Version 6, which was released last year.
"Version 6 took our email archiving product to a new level with increased control and enhanced search functions," said Robin Bingeman of the
email compliance technology. "Our latest update includes shortcuts to favorite searches, a concise history of searches, bulk mail restore and much more."
The updated version includes:
-Business Continuity model, which is an always-on feature that gives organisations access to their emails with the ability to send, receive and forward emails if their Exchange server or mail server goes down.
-Users can control which mailboxes privileged users are allowed to see and not see.
-Emails can be found based on whether it has an attachment and if so, how many. This allows users a better relevancy of results when conducting a search. This also applies to searching for emails based on their size.
-Previous searches are stored much like they are on an Internet browser, so users can access them quickly.
-Users are able to identify common emails that overlap, which is helpful during the eDiscovery process.
-Single sign-on, which prevents regular users and cloud users from having to enter their password every time they access the system.
-Shortcuts can be created so users can access their favorite searches.
-Users can restore multiple items in a single click if a mailbox needs to be restored.
