Sacramento Internet Provider Creates Web Browser for Cats

(prHWY.com) December 19, 2012 - Seattle, WA -- People often treat cats and dogs like second family members. There are stories of people believing that cats and dogs can talk, sing, and dance, but never has there been a story of cats and dogs surfing the Internet - until now.

Sacramento Internet provider, Sun Co Internet, has plans to launch a web browser that is designed specifically for cats. This web browser would feature websites, photos and all types of different amenities that people think cats would want to see and do on the Internet.

"We have been working hard on ways to expand our company", explained CEO of Sun Co Internet, John Mainman. "We noticed that a lot of our customers have cats and thought we'd like to bring them in as part of the Sun Co Internet company. And thus the cat web browser was created."

The cat browser would feature a variety of different amenities and features that the creators believe cats would find appealing on the Internet. There is an entire section devoted to showing pictures of other cats, a YouTube channel filled with cat videos, and even a website for cats that tend to find other animals, such as dogs or birds, attractive.

"We have an entire set of features that cats will just love", explained Mainman. "We know that cats will love it because we have beta tested this browser with a group of cats. It really went over well once the cats learned how to use it."

The concept for the web browser is rather simple. The main account holder would create a small computer station for the cat that is on ground level. The computer station would feature a padded 'cat keyboard' and a monitor. The cat would come to the cat station when it wanted to browse the Internet.

"What we created was a browser that interacts with the cat keyboard", said Jimmy Timmons, creator of the cat web browser. "The cat just taps certain pictures on the simplified keyboard and it brings up that picture. It took a little while for the cats to learn how to use it, but once they did it was smooth sailing."

A surprisingly huge interest has been shown in this cat web browser. Five different pet magazines have already called expressing interest in running features on it, while over 500 customers of the Sacramento Internet provider have called in asking to be placed on the waiting list for this feature.

"There is a huge demand for it", said Timmons. "Soon seeing a cat browsing the Internet will just be second nature to the world."
