"Simply check the digital video recorder where the IP security camera sends its video feed, look around for security settings and place a password for the camera's video feed. The whole process should take ten minutes or so."
Li also encourages consumers to regularly check if the manufacturer has released updated firmware for the camera.
"These firmware fixes can patch up any security holes in the software of the IP security cameras, so it pays to check up on the manufacturer every now and then."
