McLaren to unveil their new car for 2013

Mc Laren has confirmed the unveiling of their new car, Mercedes-powered MP4-28 on 31st of January 2013 in UK. The Woking-based squad won seven Grand Prix races and placed as third in the constructor's championship in 2012, is the second team to announce their car launching date for 2013. It was Force India that first revealed their car unveiling that will be done at Silverstone on 1st February. This is just four days before the first official pre-season test for 2013 at Jerez in Spain.

Jenson Button, Mc Laren Driver said, "For 2013, we are hoping for a better and faster car that would enable us to win this time. I hope there would be no errors for 2013. MP4-27 must have been a stunning car, but due to some failures, we ended up with some faulty results just like in the race in Malaysia and China. However, my co-driver and I are wishing for the best this season."

One of the few weaknesses of the Mc Laren car in 2012 was its performance when driving on wet roads. The tyres are too much difficult to perform. This was the result of the rain-hit qualifying sessions in Britain and Germany where Hamilton and Button, the constructor's driver neither made it into the top five. In the nine races in 2012 followed by summer break, the team efforts paid off with four wins and five pole positions. However, their scores fell due to their unreliable car.
