Film is produced by D .V. V Danayya under their banner Universal Media. Second time Ram Charan and Kajal are paired together after Magadheera.

Ram Charan's dance in leaked song of Laila O Laila raised the expectation on movie. Thaman's music has become an asset of the movie. Buzz is that Chiranjeevi has watched final cut and felt happy with the outcome.

Fans all over the world are expecting that the Naayak Review will be great and the movie will be the winner this festive season.

The soundtrack was composed by S. Thaman. The film began shooting in February 2012 and is to be completed by mid-December.
