Carol Anne Bond understands how important academic achievement is. She worked hard during her student years to complete her Master in Business Administration degree before started her professional career. Understanding the how and why of succeeding academically drove Carol Anne Bond to tutor others. She has been a GED tutor for a while now and has helped prepare many people for the tests.
"It is important for people to pass their GED tests. Not only because it opens up more career opportunities, but it demonstrates to the tutees on a personal level they can successfully finish what they've started," says Carol Anne Bond. And the individuals that she tutors are equally grateful. Her hard work and enthusiasm translates to greater confidence when her tutees take the tests.
Carol Anne Bond's volunteer work isn't limited to being a GED tutor. She is also an ESL tutor. "They say America is a melting pot, but fluent speech is important if you want to have a stable and successful career," explains Carol Anne Bond. This is why she also tutors individuals learning English as a second language. "The best way to pick up a language is through practice, and the best practice method is to speak with a native speaker!" exclaims Carol Anne Bond.
Through her work as an ESL tutor, Carol Anne Bond has helped many people learning English speak more confidently. Carol Anne Bond is honored to help build confidence in the people she volunteers to tutor. Whether it is learning English as a second language or passing the GED tests, Carol Anne Bond is happy to volunteer for the cause.
