The circumstances compelled CBSE to offer standardized courses that deal with Indian tourism sector from 2013 onwards, and subsequently it will help to boost the vitality of India Tour Packages.

India gets more than fifty lakh tourists from different countries every year. The travellers who embark on domestic travelling are high in India. The hotels in India lack a trained man power of two lakh. Here is the significance of launching new courses in tourism at the budding stage of education itself. Tourism is a growing sector in India, and the tour packages such as Golden Triangle Tours and Goa Tours are popular among the foreigners. Each year number of travellers to these packages is on the rise.

The courses offered by CBSE deal with every aspect of hospitality and tourism. It include making of food, managing reception, and travel scheduling so on.
