: Stephen Souky Celebrates Graduation From Bible Study Group
Grace Fellowship Church member Stephen Souky has recently graduated from the Starting Point bible study group.

"I've gotten so much out of the Starting Point group," remarked Stephen Souky. "I've always been involved in church activities, at Grace Fellowship and elsewhere, but I realized that I was lacking in knowledge about the scripture from which I take many of my beliefs and practices."
Along with his fellow Starting Point study group members, Stephen Souky read through the parts of the bible that are most key to the tenets of Christianity as a whole and Grace Fellowship Church in particular. "After close study of the bible, I feel as if I have a better understanding of my own philosophies and beliefs," said Stephen Souky. "In many instances, my study allowed me to put my beliefs into words far more clearly, as well as better understand the requirements of being a good Christian. Plus, I got to form closer relationships with many other members of the Church."
Outside of his church activities, Stephen Souky enjoys finding other ways to be involved with his community. Stephen Souky regularly donates to the Schenectady City Mission, and he volunteers with church and community organizations to help those in need. Stephen Souky is also a youth sports coach. Currently the head coach of the Niskayuna Girls Travel Basketball Biddy Bs, Stephen Souky has coached the St. Paul's CYO girls' basketball team, the Saratoga Sparks, and the Mohawk Valley Heat in the past. He is also an ACE certified softball coach.
"Being a part of my community in Niskayuna and the surrounding area is very important to me," commented Stephen Souky. "My involvement with Grace Fellowship Church, through the Starting Point bible study group and various events, is just one way that I can build ties with my community while simultaneously engaging my spiritual needs and beliefs. I look forward to future bible study at Grace Fellowship."
