Vancouver, Canada (prHWY.com) January 10, 2013 - Houman Rezazadeh-Azar is extremely pleased to announce that he has received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Athabasca with great distinction, and with honors. He finished out his degree with an A+ GPA.

"I'm extremely proud of my achievements," remarked Houman Rezazadeh-Azar. "I worked very hard to develop good study skills, and put a lot of time and effort into my work and my research. I'm very happy that it has paid off."

In addition to graduating with great distinction and being named to the Honors List, Houman Rezazadeh-Azar was inducted into the Golden Key International Honor Society. This academic award is extremely prestigious, and membership in the society is by invitation only. Houman Rezazadeh-Azar is certainly no stranger to awards and academic success: as a high school student, he received the Passport to Education award from the British Columbia Ministry of Education.

"I've always placed a very high value on education," said Houman Rezazadeh-Azar. "Education is, of course, the key to professional success, but moreover, I think it's a way to increase knowledge about society and the issues that humanity faces. That is, of course, the first step to helping solve those problems."

While a university student, Houman Rezazadeh-Azar helped his classmates come to understand those issues as well, through a student club called Movies that Matter. Headed by Houman Rezazadeh-Azar, the club members watched socially significant films together in order to increase their knowledge of social, political, and cultural affairs. The screenings then lead to discussions about concrete steps to take to solve local and world problems.

Before transferring to the University of Athabasca, Houman Rezazadeh-Azar studied at Thompson Rivers University and the University of British Columbia. However, Houman Rezazadeh-Azar opted to transfer to the University of Athabasca in order to become involved in research projects that were more suited to his interests and long-term goals.

Houman Rezazadeh-Azar intends to continue his education and embark upon a course of dental health training. With his commitment to education and stellar record, Houman Rezazadeh-Azar should have no problem gaining access to the top programs in his field.
