Fort Lauderdale, FL (prHWY.com) January 11, 2013 - Every year corporations become sponsors for a number of different events and charities. Oftentimes, we see corporate names as sponsors for gaming events. When you watch the Super Bowl you'll hear the line "brought to you by" followed by the names of the main corporate sponsors. Even small corporations do their part sponsoring small events, organizations, and charities.

Peter M. Burgess and Dale M. Wood are business partners and owners of Wellesley Asset Secured Portfolio, Inc. They created their company in 2010, and together they have worked to expand the profitability of their investment company. "Our goal for Wellesley is to present an experienced, well-managed approach to fund management through making profitable secure investments for investors and offering high yield returns in income producing commercial real estate transactions," says President Peter M. Burgess.

In the short two years since the company's creation, Wellesley Asset Secured Portfolio, Inc. has grown in wealth. However, the business owners decided it was also in the company's best interest to support a charity to improve the company's reputation and visibility. With that goal in mind, Peter M. Burgess decided to support the Dieuveny Foundation. "The foundation was founded by Deiuveny (DJ) Louis after the earthquake in Haiti," explains Peter M. Burgess. "It is a children's charity that maintains a focus on impoverished children," he said.

The company started to sponsor the charity in the latter half of 2012. It was October 20, 2012 that Wellesley Asset Secured Portfolio, Inc. sponsored a charity fund raiser at the Shelborne Hotel in Miami Beach Florida. Money for the charity goes to a number of programs including a mobile health unit and natural disaster relief. Starting in 2013, the charity will offer scholarships.

"We again supported the charity by hosting an event December 8, 2012 for the Dieuveny Foundation," says Peter M. Burgess. The event's purpose was to raise money for holiday gifts designated for children who would otherwise have nothing for the holidays. "The fund raising event was December 8th but I, along with other executives, was present for the Toy Distribution by the Dieuveny Foundation in conjunction with The United Way on December 15, 2012," says Peter M. Burgess.
