Yes, you can cut every 3 Flexible LED Strip LEDs for 12VDC and 6 LEDs for 24VDC , there is mark on the PCB. We also can customize the strip to desired length to illuminate under kitchen cabinets, kickboards, bar tops, under cars, LCD TV backlight, and more! 2) What is Voltage Drop and how to deal with it?

One of the most important things to consider while installing a LED Strip lights is the effect of what is called "voltage drop". Low voltage lighting requires voltage at the light fixture to be at 12 volts in this case. The longer the length from the light is to the transformer, the lower the voltage will be. And voltage drop leads to color different.

LED strip lights that are installed a few feet away from the power source should not be effected by voltage drop, but if run strip more than 16.4feet,you may well experience voltage drop where the LED's at the end of the run are less bright than those at the beginning . There are ways of overcoming this issue by using amplifiers - just ask!

The Amplifier (work for both single color strip and RGB).each time add one RGB amplifier, the connecting number of led will be more than twice, in theory, numerous RGB amplifiers can be connected.

3)What is Flexible LED Strip?

One of the newest ways LEDs are being used is on LED Flex Strips. These Flexible LED Strips come in many configurations meaning one can be very bright to light an entire room and another less bright for accent lighting. LED Flex strips can be made to use any usable wavelength or color that is desired for your home or business project. LEDs can also be made to change colors across a broad spectrum using a RGB Controller. Typically, this is done with SMD 5050 series LED strips, using three primary colors to create a million color combinations. And other LED strip models (SMD335, 3528, samsung5630) can be dimmable with a single color dimmer.

4) If waterproof strip type needed in my application, what can you provide?

Three waterproof strip types we have, and waterproof level is generally expressed with an IP rating which determines its liquid ingress level such as:

1) Waterproof IP65 (SI: surface injection) ---The strip surface is covered by a layer of epoxy glue. The strip is equipped with double sided adhesive tape on the back, which can protect from splash water

2) Waterproof IP67 (ST: silicone Tube) ---The strip is encased in a hollow silicone tube and sealed on both ends by a silicone end cap. The strip in this rate can be used on deck.

3) Waterproof IP68 (WI: whole injection ) ---The strip is put in a U shape silicone tube, and then covered by Silicone Gel on the surface . Strips in this rate can be used in very demanding environment. It can work under -20°C to +80°C. It's completely water resistant which can work under water.

5) Where can i mount them and how do I install?

Flexible LED Strip can be mounted onto pretty much any surface but are best installed out of the line of sight for a reduced glare effect. For example; recessed into the cornice around a living room, pelmets and plinths, under kitchen cupboard units or within glass fronted cabinets, facing down to provide an evenly distributed light that is ideal for a primary / secondary illumination or a lighting effect. Their location is limited only by your imagination!

For non-waterproof and waterproof IP65 strip,3m double sided adhesive that is attached to the back works best! While waterproof IP67/68, the fixing clips we will provide to make installation easier and not affect the appearance.

6) What does the color rendering of led strip light mean?

Color rendering means that when the light is shot onto an object, the extent of presenting object's color. The higher the color rendering is, the better the light can present the object, and the color we see is more close to the natural color. International lighting committee CIE makes the color rendering index of the sun as Ra=100. All kinds of color rendering index varies. Color rendering is also a very important link in the illume decoration design, which will directly influence the effect of all decoration items.
