Peter M. Burgess Has Over Decade of Real Estate Transaction Experience

Peter M. Burgess has many years of working in the real estate industry to guide him and his business.

Wood founded Wellesley Asset Secured Portfolio, Inc. in 2010. Since the founding of the company, both partners have worked hard expanding the profits of the company through safe real estate investment decisions. Peter M. Burgess did not co-create the company on a whim - he had
years of previous experience both in real estate transactions and executive leadership positions.
In 1981, Peter M. Burgess held a duel position as Treasurer and Executive Vice President of a multi-national development company. Even though ownership of the company changed hands over the years, Peter M. Burgess became the Group President responsible for overseeing the company's development projects. "I oversaw projects spanning multiple states; we were developing in Florida, California, Texas, Georgia, and Colorado," says Peter M. Burgess.

He stayed with the company until he decided to leave in 2001. "It was after I left the development company that I got involved in structuring real estate transactions. I spent a decade structuring transactions around the United States before partnering with Dale S. Wood in 2010 to form Wellesley Asset Structured Portfolio, Inc.," says Peter M. Burgess.

Prior to any of his work in the United States, Peter M. Burgess was a student of business in England. He attended Rush Green College also known as the University of South East London in 1966. He graduated in 1969 with a national diploma in business studies. He then attended Kingston Polytechnic from 1970 to 1975 to study for the Association of Corporate Accountants. This was the fundamental business foundation that led to his position as Executive Vic
e President in the United States.
Today, Peter M. Burgess is President and Founder of Wellesley Asset Secured Portfolio, Inc. In 2011, he, with partner Dale S. Wood, acquired the Pan American Fund, LLC.
