British Columbia, Canada (prHWY.com) January 25, 2013 - The Addictapic social networking website now allows photographers to share and promote their photos, plus access photography resources such as photo editors and an online photo gifts store.

British Columbia, Canada - January 12, 2013 - Addictapic, a new member-oriented social networking site, now allows photographers to post their work, receive feedback from other members, or comment on the others' work. The website offers an opportunity to receive feedback in a community type environment outside of the large networks such as Facebook or Twitter. Members can post their photos safely as the site is constantly managed by CEO Damien Hannah.

Members can upload up to 15 photos per day on Addictapic. Each one is manually approved by Hannah and checked for copyright infringements, trademark violations, and more to keep everyone free of risk while making their work publicly viewable. The site is also constantly checked for spam, so users to not have to be bombarded with a large number of photos and other materials. In addition to community, users can expect a safe and risk-free environment to share their passion.

Members are not limited to simply adding photos to Addictapic. The site also boasts two photo editors for members to use whenever they want. One editor provides express/quick photo filters while another offers a Photoshop-like ability to start from scratch and optimize each image for viewing. Other website features include a DSLR Simulator and photography tutorials distributed in the form of YouTube videos. Users can also find listings for selling or purchasing equipment. In addition, an Amazon store for purchasing cameras and other photography supplies lets members buy items directly within the website.

Damien Hannah has also added the AP Photo Gifts store where members can create their own products using various photography skills, sell their work, or buy that of others. Products such as apparel, bags, buttons, and magnets can be designed and sold. With this feature, photographers have the opportunity to post their work and find resources for marketing it by opening their own online store.

The social website is updated on a regular basis. Portfolio comment wall notifications have been recently added, plus the site's chat system now supports an interactive video/audio chat, screensharing, and a collaborative document writing/whiteboard feature. Users can also engage in two-player games. The social media aspect will soon be expanded, with the ability to add a Facebook friends list to the chat system, enabling members to chat with them directly from the Addictapic interface.

Members will also soon have access to data on the most used cameras, lenses, shutter speeds, and more, making Addictapic a one stop destination for sharing photography interests. An integral Social Center provides access to individual photographers, groups, forums, and blogs. Members can also find answers to questions and see contests and other listings.
