XAT 2013: Revised scores & percentile published; old XLRI PI calls to stay
Reacting swiftly to a few complaints by XAT 2013 takers, XLRI has taken the bold step of re-evaluating all the XAT papers.
More than 92000 test takers had taken XAT on 6th January 2013. XAT results were declared on January 17th 2013. XLRI had received a few complaints from XAT takers recently regarding a technical error in particular series of test paper.
While the scores will change for a few candidates who took a particular series of test paper which had technical error, the percentiles of all candidates is expected to change.
However XLRI spokesperson told MBAUniverse.com that XLRI will honour it's past PI calls, sent earlier, even if these candidates have marginally lower scores due to re evaluation. This will effectively mean that XLRI's revised XAT cut off will be lower than what was announced earlier.

Informing MBAUniverse.com, XAT convener Prof. Ballabh, said today that instead of just checking a few complaints, XLRI thought it prudent to check all the papers. This will ensure that all XAT takers are at par on the process of re- evaluation, and it is fair to all.
"Yes we have received a few complaints regarding a particular test series paper. Upon review we found that there was indeed an error. Instead of only correcting and updating score of few complainants, to be fair to all, we are rechecking all test papers," said Prof. Ballabh.

Dr Ballabh said XLRI apologises for the confusion caused. He assured all test takers that XLRI has taken all steps to ensure that revised scores are accurate & fair to all.
