London, United Kingdom (prHWY.com) January 28, 2013 - The British government has decided this week to extend its apprenticeship grants for hospitality training management to March 2014, a decision which is being met with cheer by the target 16-24-year-old demographic, as well as by their prospective employers.

The rules for the attribution of the £1500 grant have also been revised, with the money now being available to any business of 1.000 employees or less, to take in up to 10 apprentices at any one time.

Chief Executive of the British Hospitality Association Ufi Ibrahim considered the new criteria "excellent news" and revealed an initiative is already under way to try and promote apprenticeship programmes among industry leaders in the hospitality field, where traineeships are particularly important as a way to find talent.

The Government will also be launching a nationwide radio advertising campaign in order to promote these grants.
