Wayanad, Kerala, India (prHWY.com) January 29, 2013 - Engineering projects are more than just pieces of coursework and technical terms. These require lots of practical works to solve problems in the field of information systems.There are various other innovative and fresh science project ideas which are exciting and rewarding with lots of innovative designs, technical challenges and detailed testing.
For example, light circuit is one of the most interesting science fair project ideas which are based on an electric circuit. The experiment show how the electric circuit gets affected by changing a pencil resistor's length. Human are familiar with electricity from very early times when the ancient Greeks had generated static electricity through friction between fur and amber.
Benjamin Franklin was the first man who demonstrated that electricity produced due to lighting, but not a static electricity. The Alessandro Volta was the first person who developed the first electric circuit in 1800. Andre Marie Ampere purpose theory of correlation existed between electricity and magnetism though; the concept was established in 1826.
While working on Volta, Georg Ohm determined that amount of electricity that moved through a conductor, its offered resistance, strength and was directly proportional to the electric current produced, later it was known as Ohm's Law. These are the basic principles of any light circuit project of science fair experiment.
However, the Ohm's law, Volta and Ampere have no relevance or utilization until Thomas Edison invented the light bulb in 1877. Light circuit projects include experiment and proper usage of cells, resistors, circuits and light bulbs and various other things such as
* Pencils
* Ruler
* Pencil sharpener
* Three wires with alligator clips at both the ends
* Small light bulb (9V)
* Bulb holder
* Battery
* Extra wire piece
* A coping saw
* Popsicle stick
One needs to follow a proper procedure that includes setting up the circuit board, making your pencil resistors and measuring the pencil resistors.
