Just because people do not have money to spend, the whole cycle is being started which shows us that the government and other international groups have failed to stop this plummet to doom. The root cause of the problem is that the average person does not have the disposable income through which he can demand products. Remember demand is a very different phenomenon from want. Want is when you have the desire to buy something but cannot afford it, like many people 'want' to have a Rolls Royce. However demand is when you actually want to buy something and can actually afford it as well, like many people 'demand' for clothing, demand for staple food and etc. So when people do not have any demand to buy something because of them being short on cash, the industries will have no one to sell to. This will ensure that their profit margins will fall greatly within a few months and because of that they will see that they cannot meet their expenditures.

For a producing concern, their largest expenditure is normally the workforce and thus they start making cuts to that, rendering many people unemployed. The irony is, that these people are the ones who will be purchasing their products and because of them being fired from their jobs, they do not have the money to demand such products, which is the first step in the cycle once again. One of the largest emerging economies that has created a lot of job opportunities is that of Ghana. The African nation is currently opening its doors for foreign experts to come in and inject some much needed expertise in their economy.
