David Lafko - Avid Surfboard Enthusiast
As a resident of California, David Lafko loves to surf.

There are a few dangers to surfing. Obviously, attempting to ride 17-foot waves in a terrible storm can be very dangerous and could potentially lead to a person drowning. Rocks are always dangerous to a surfer. A rock could be just underneath the water and the surfer would have no idea. David Lafko recommends scouting for rocks before surfing. If your surfboard hits a rock, that surfboard is very capable of breaking, sending the rider straight into the water, possibly onto another rock. Many surfers have passed away from hitting their head on a rock and drowning in the water. David Lafko also warns that sharks also present a danger to surfers. Sharks are becoming more and more prevalent in waters that human beings utilize for swimming, surfing and fishing. David Lafko always gets out of the water as soon as a shark warning is announced. It is important to always be alert and aware when you are surfing.
David Lafko loves the fact that if you are good enough, it is very possible to build a career out of surfing. Many people throughout the world have lived their lives as professional surfers. David Lafko hopes to one day get to the level of professional surfer. Surfing is one of David Lafko's favorite hobbies and he will remain a surfer until the day he dies. David Lafko recommends that everyone should try surfing, even if it is just one time.
