Seattle, WA (prHWY.com) February 12, 2013 - Party planners who like to stay up to date on the latest party trends may want to consider adding a ductless heat pump to their next party. These devices that were once used for heating rooms without requiring an extensive duct system in the house are now being used for a new purpose - to brighten up a party's atmosphere.

"We have noticed an increased number of parties using ductless heat pumps as a part of their party planning", explained Sandra O'Connor, a columnist for Party Planning USA. "It started with just a handful of parties using these items as part of their party atmosphere, and now they are a huge trend. It isn't a party until you have one of these things."

The ductless heat pumps are being used as a way to spread confetti, bubbles, or other items across the room. These objects often blow air out, which allows the items to be spread throughout the party.

"I am not sure who thought of using these ductless heat pumps for this purpose but it's really cool", said O'Connor. "Bubbles, confetti and balloons are all parts of almost every party. It's the added touch of having it blow across the room like it does that really improves and changes the party atmosphere."

Manufacturers of the ductless heat pumps are thrilled about the increase in interest of these devices, but want to warn against using them for other purposes beyond what they are intended for.

"We are really thrilled that people are having so much fun with these objects", said Daniel Puffins, manufacturer of ductless heat pumps. "However, we advise that people use common sense when using it as a party supply. It really can brighten a party and we don't want to see anyone's party ruined."

The ductless heat pumps have developed quite a following. They have their own Facebook page with over 10,000 fans, and a Twitter account. These accounts allow people to share their parties where the ductless heat pump was present and exchange party ideas.

"I joined the ductless heat pump's Facebook page", said Rodger Higgins. "I did it as a joke, but then I realized how people were so serious about these things at parties. I have to admit I got swept up in the whole party idea and the ductless heat pump will be at my next house party. It'll be a real blast!"
