indore, India (prHWY.com) February 13, 2013 - Chana futures gain 0.74 per cent on spot demand.
Chana prices gained 0.74 per cent to Rs 3,421 per quintal in futures trading as speculators created fresh positions, driven by a rise in demand in the spot market. At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, chana for delivery in April rose by Rs 25, or 0.74 per cent, with an open interest of 77,510 lots..
Turmeric futures rise on spot demand
Turmeric prices rose by Rs 28 to Rs 6,410 per quintal in futures trading as speculators created fresh positions, taking a positive cuesfrom spot market on a rise in demand. At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, turmeric for delivery in May rose by Rs 28, or 0.44 per cent, with an open interest of 8,170 lots.
