I've know a great deal about method for motocross and raced motocross bicycles for 12 years, but am at a loss as it pertains to sportbikes. Lots of the motocross methods appear to perform well on sportbikes, but I'm certain there are some that do not use well and are different or even reverse.

Don't forget before you experience that you must extend arms. You can just place your hands from the bars, and press firmly. You'll feel how parts of your muscles underneath the hand are extending. Nevertheless, do not do any 'sharp' actions, you may harm the muscles if you drive too powerful and quick.

And last but not at all least -- change your bars. Get some thing with lower size. Bars with lower size are more straightforward to maintain, and you'll discover that both hands are still not so tired soon after 10 minutes of racing. Obviously, do not select anything too thin (I'm unsure if there exist quite thin handlebars), since it will soon be even harder to put up compared to broad handlebars.
