Double Victory for Carlos Kauffman in the Ferrari Challenge North America

Carlos Kauffman is a well known Venezuelan race car driver. Carlos Kauffman recently participated in the Ferrari Challenge of North America. The Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli is one of the most popular one-make series.

Lakeside, CA (prHWY.com) February 14, 2013 - The Ferrari Challenge North America Series made its debut at the Daytona 24 hours on January 24, 2013. The Daytona 24 hours at Florida's International Speedway had twenty two drivers vying for the top three positions.

Behind the wheel of the 458 Challenge car were drivers of high caliber, skills and talent on the Daytona International Speedway. The third largest single lit outdoor sports facility, Daytona International Speedway saw the start of the twentieth season of the Ferrari Challenge North America.

Carlos Kauffman an accomplished driver was in great spirits on the day and was determined to make a finish on the podium. The two races saw great action from some of the best world-class drivers, the best among them being Carlos Kauffman who took part in the two races at the wheel of the 458 Challenge car.

On Friday, Carlos Kauffman was way ahead of all the cars, but a Coppa Shell driver, John Farano (Auto Gallery) who crossed the line ahead. Team-mate Carlos Kauffman was placed second taking the win in the Trofeo Pirelli category followed home by Mark McKenzie (Ferrari of Houston) and Henrik Hedman (Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale,) third and fourth overall respectively. In Race 2 however, Carlos Kauffman, first overall and first in the Trofeo Pirelli, was followed by Emmanuel Anassis (Ferrari of Quebec), best of the Coppa Shell runners ahead of Mark Mckenzie and Onofrio Triarsi (Ferrari of Central Florida) second and third respectively in the Trofeo Pirelli.

Carlos Kauffman, first overall and first in the Trofeo Pirelli, thus achieved a fantastic double victory! Carlos Kauffman, a Venezuelan is passionate about racing and has won and taken part in many prestigious races.

The competitors in the North America Series will be back in action on 13-14 April at Sao Paolo for another truly unique event as part of the second Ferrari Racing Days of the year. This will be followed by the opening one in Abu Dhabi at the beginning of March. You can find some great action on track which will be by amazing cars entered in the non competitive XX and F1 Clienti programmes.
