Moises Maionica - Representing the Venezuela's Italian Entrepreneurs

Moises Maionica is an acclaimed personality in Venezuela. He has worked extensively with the governments of Venezuela and Italy. Moises Maionica was responsible for preparing the agenda for President Chavez's trip to Italy.

He has worked extensively for the interior ministry which is often referred in Venezuela as the ministry of home affairs. National security, policing, conduct of elections, supervision of local governments, public affairs and immigration matters are looked after by the ministry. Moises Maionica has also been a close aide of President Chavez and prepares the agenda for the President's visits to other countries.

Moises Maionica successfully coordinated meetings with the embassy of Italy for the exponents of the Italian community in Venezuela. Among the European Venezuelan immigrants, Italians comprise the majority and have contributed towards the economic progress of Venezuela. As entrepreneurs, Italians are now the crème de la crème of Venezuela. Engaging himself wholeheartedly, Moises Maionica favorably brought the officials from governments of Italy and Venezuela to work in tandem for future progress of both the countries. Opportunities for growth were discussed by participants at the meeting which was presided by President Chavez of Venezuela. Born on 16th March 1947, Moises Maionica represented Italians at this meeting and brought about better alignment with both the governments. He also gave an applauding speech before the assembled group.

On behalf of the Italian community, Moises Maionica suggested the opening of a bank (Bank Ital). A bank was a much needed proposition as it would allow faster, better and smoother transactions between the two countries and would help the businessmen. Moises Maionica especially selected board of promoters with the firm intention of getting important figures of the community to invest in the project.

Moises Maionica has also accompanied a delegation of Venezuelan deputies to a meeting with the Italian Parliament. This Italian Parliament was at the time headed by then deputy Rafael La Cava in the presence of Deputy Cilia Flores. Moises Maionica has a natural talent for leadership and excellent communication skills and this has hugely contributed to the immense success of this meeting. Working as the State Collaboration Instructor, Moises Maionica has signed more than 34 trade agreements between Venezuela and Italy including the railroad plan.
