Chana up 0.5% on good demand.

Chana futures for April rose by Rs 17, or 0.49% per quintal in 71,880 lots. At the Nation Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), the May contract increased by Rs 16, or 0.45%, per quintal in 22,800 lots. Prices went up as traders enlarged holdings on rising spot demand at existing low levels
against restricted supply.

Chilli, turmeric down on subdued demand

Red chilli and turmeric prices fell by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital owing to subdued demand from retailers and
stockists amid adequate stocks. Red chilli and turmeric prices declined by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 6,000-11,000 and Rs 6,200-10,000 per quintal, respectively. Marketmen said subdued demand from retailers and stockists amid sufficent stocks position mainly put pressure on chilli and turmeric prices.
