Fort Lauderdale, FL (prHWY.com) February 27, 2013 - The management staff at Barwize, Inc., quickly becoming the most recognized name in alcohol server training in the state of Florida, is very pleased to announce the hiring of retired Florida Alcohol, Beverage, and Tobacco Captain Keith Hamilton as the company's new Director of Compliance. Keith recently left the ABT after 32 years of dedicated service which made him not only popular with the local alcoholic beverage vendors and retailers, but also knowledgeable about the important laws and regulations which surround Florida's strict compliance laws.

"We know that Keith's expertise will be invaluable to the growth of Barwize," states Eric Mickelson, the company's President. "Who better to effectively educate clients on issues of responsible vendor alcohol training than someone who has seen both sides of the coin?" Keith's appointment comes as Barwize begins a long-anticipated expansion out of the southeastern region of Florida into the central and western parts of the state. Keith's home base will be the company's new Tampa office, although he will be traveling all in many other parts of the state when necessary. Keith is excited about the innovative technology behind Barwize's online format, much more advanced than similar programs designed even a few years ago . "The technology is incredible," he says. "This will revolutionize the way the companies handle their vendor training programs. Everyone I have introduced to our program has been enthusiastic."

Keith will also be spearheading Barwize's movement into food handler and food manager training. These courses, although not yet online as is the alcohol server training, will include instruction in the 2009 Food and Drug Administration Food Code, which was recently adopted to better protect the public from food-borne illnesses such as e coli.
Keith joins a staff which includes not only Mickelson, a successful local businessman, but Barwize owner and founder Christina M. Kitterman, Esq., an attorney who has practiced hospitality law in south Florida for over 10 years.
