Noida, India (prHWY.com) February 27, 2013 - Some of the top universities and private B schools in the country accept scores of CMAT for admission in various MBA and PGDM courses.

Twelve states have already agreed to accept CMAT as the only gateway to MBA admissions under the government quota from the ensuing academic year, instead of the State-administered Post graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET). The states which are accepting CMAT scores are Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Nagaland, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka and Jharkhand.

The Supreme Court on February 18 cleared all doubts and confusion on entrance tests for PGDM admission by stating that PGDM institutions can admit students who have taken any of the six MBA entrance exams, namely CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA CMAT and GMAT.
