He has helped numerous students in enhancing their performance in the game. Many of his students have taken baseball as their career and are excelling in the field. Baseball and football are two games that attract people of all ages in the world. He says that coaches are responsible for teaching players the fundamentals of a game and bring individual talents together to play as a group team. In his career, he has served as the Head Baseball Coach at Emporia High in Emporia KS from 1996-1998. He was Assistant Football Coach at Garden City High School from 1998-1999 and from 2002-2007, he was the Head Baseball coach at Garden City High School. From 2008-2011, he was the Head baseball coach at Holcomb High School. Brad Bascue has played baseball at Garden City Community College in 1986 and 1987. Upon receiving his Associate's degree, he went to Emporia State University from 1988-1989. He was a second team All American in 1989. he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education and successfully completed fifteen years towards his Masters in Educational Leadership. He is also the holder of Kansas Physical Education Teaching Certificate K-12.
