Drew Shytle creates custom cornhole boards to be shared with Newtown, Connecticut community.

Drew Shytle is the owner of a small business in Lexington, North Carolina. His business Legit Cornhole creates custom cornhole game boards. Drew Shytle decided to create a handmade cornhole board for the community of Newtown. He didn't want the gift to be just from his company or him; he wanted the whole town of Lexington, North Carolina to be involved. Drew Shytle made the board available so that residents could add their signatures to the cornhole board as a gesture of solidarity and support for the Newtown community. Word travels fast in a small town. Response to the board was overwhelming. "I quickly realized that one board was not going to be enough," says Drew Shytle. Legit Cornhole created more boards and more signatures were collected from the Lexington community. "The amount of people who showed up to sign the boards was incredible. The personal messages of support are really touching," says Drew Shytle.
"If these cornhole boards are able to bring any happiness or serve as a short distraction for the people of Newtown, Connecticut, I would be very gratified," says Drew Shytle. Drew Shytle was delighted by the outpouring of support from his community in Lexington for the cornhole board idea. "The community of Lexington is incredibly supportive. I knew we would be able to send a clear message of community support to the people in Newtown, Connecticut," says Drew Shytle.
