Chana falls on higher output views, new supply.
Chana futures fell on due to expectations of higher output and rising arrivals from the new season crop though some lowerlevel demand in the spot market limited the downside. As of 0859 GMT, the key April contract on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange was down 0.30 per cent at Rs 3,309 per 100 kg.

Turmeric climbs over 3% on spot demand
Turmeric futures for April climbed by Rs 198, or 3.23 per cent, to Rs 6,330 per quintal in 27,300 lots. At the National and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), the May traded higher by Rs 200, or 3.20%, to Rs 6,448 per quintal in 9,115 lots. Prices went up as speculators created fresh positions, driven by an improvement in spot market demand amid lower output expectations.
